1500W Thickness Planer

The RYOBI 1500W 318mm Thickness Planer generates a powerful cutting performance to ensure pieces of timber have a smoother finish and uniform thickness across their entire length. It’s an essential tool for any woodwork projects requiring high precision and consistent material sizes, such as building furniture, smoothing rough and old timber for upcycling, and preparing timber for joinery and moulding.

This Thickness Planer is suitable for use on all kinds of timber excluding engineered types such as MDF and plywood. Feed timber pieces up to 318mm wide and 153mm high through the dual blade head.

A four-pillar design ensures all material is cut parallel, enabling up to 1.6mm of material to be cut on a single pass. The automatic feed rollers pull material through at an 8m/min pace to ensure a consistent finish.

Table extensions support and guide material into the rollers and feature an anti-kickback guard for enhanced safety.

Use the cutterhead height adjustment crank and depth of cut scale to set precise cutting heights.

Connect a RYOBI wet and dry vac or dust extraction system to collect debris and minimise mess.
