In this example, we investigate the potential differences between genuine RYOBI batteries and a sample of non-genuine RYOBI 4Ah 18V available on the market.

The genuine RYOBI 4Ah 18V battery and the non-genuine RYOBI 4Ah 18V sample were weighed, revealing a difference in their overall mass. This discrepancy prompted further investigation into the internal components of each battery.

Fake or dummy cells in non-genuine RYOBI battery

In the non-genuine battery sample, we discovered that half of the cells appeared to be fake or dummy cells. This misrepresentation of the battery's true capacity suggests that users may not experience the expected power and performance from the non-genuine product.
