RYOBI's 36V 2.0Ah Battery has been designed to use with handheld 36V outdoor power tools where weight can be a factor, such as when trimming and pruning overhead or when using tools for extended periods (line trimmers and leaf blowers). It has less weight but no reduction in power. That's due to its compact and tapered design, which also makes it easier to insert and remove from the battery port.

The battery has internal features that help to maintain its performance and battery life, such as temperature management. It also has an LED fuel gauge to know when it needs recharging.

The 36V range of products suit medium to large size gardens where tasks can take more time or demand extra power.
